Well this week started with some surprises
First of all I had some deliveries. Rather interesting ones I might say
Big things need big trucks
First pics while smiling like a 5-year old
2JZ baby
Then I left the camera and started playing with the engine, sorry about that, LOL
In the meanwhile, the shop did some work on the car while I was away
And by some, I mean, removed the A4 fender, and inner arch
New and old parts
Tomorrow more work will be done
What is more, I had some time to do some work on minor things, but it is all in the details as they say.
So here is a before of two Defi gauges
And here they are, after the touch of my friend Andy from Dazzle Detailing Center
Hope you liked this update
More to come
Cheers
Mike

So I have some updates to show you guys.
Started playing with the engine a bit, couldnt help myself from removing some junk of it, and even help with its transportation back home.
Some random shots
Then I managed to source this
Awesome quality
That I can use in many spots that I need to
Like this
Great quality and finish
I miss you Audi
Now, bodyshop wise . . . Test fitting the inner wheel arch
Great fitment first try
Bolted in place
Welded
Zinced
And then seam-sealed and primered
RS4 fender cut and ready to be test-fitted
Looking good even on first attempt
Inner side primed
Some shots of the guns
Clear coat nozzle
With some of this
The painter left me outside his booth
To put a coat of colour
And then played with this
more on this propably tomorrow
Its all in the details
Door gap
More to come
Cheers

So why did you get a normal na 2jzge vvti and not a better one like the 2jzgte vvti? Cost was first on my mind but then i remembered the alcantar so I don't it factors in...

It is not like black and white.
I did my homework before choosing an engine

It's all debatable of course, and was a question as to why, not judging the choice.
ps: what transmission are you going to run?

ps: what transmission are you going to run?
-oem turbos
-oem manifolds
-oem internals
are staying. So there is no point in going for a gte. What is more, the ge is better in some points, depending on how high you are going to go . . . Again, I did not buy this by chance.
We shall see for transmission.

Today's progress was very interesting and unique.
First of all
All ready to be welded
Drilled the holes for the bumper's quick release system
And here comes the nice part
Did some work on this
Then grinded this
Test fitting
Hell yeah
Needs work
Then we did some work on this little part here that needed some love from some previous cutting sessions
All done, some sanding and will be ready for paint
Say hello to my little friend
Which lets you do this
Meanwhile, removed body parts (yeah, that sounds awkard, lol) started receiving some love
And I bought these little sockets on the bottom and some colours to play with.
But more on this later
Cheers everyone
Mike
