Things got very worse the past two days. Yesterday my friend backed in to the right rear door, so it's fucked now. Also, the trans was back to its habits again this afternoon

Another day of running and driving well, which makes me more excited to service the trans, in hopes of reducing the torque converter whine, which has been less freequent. The past two days, there has been no abnormal shifting, and the sounds coming from my hub bearings have been less intense. Ive been up to the body work, i'd say its going well, although slower than i would like it to be. I really had to butcher the car to get rid of the rust on the rear quarter. Basically, the last time it was repaired, the person didnt prep the area corectly, and rust formed underneath the new bondo, which caused cracking of the body work, which i removed, prepped correctly, and repaired. It's on its final stages, and ready for primer and paint. My friends are all urging me to submit my car for Canibeat's "First Class Fitment" show in Princeton, which I think is a long shot, but apparently people think otherwise. My plans are to polish and repaint my wheels, finish my body work off, space it out about 10mm or so, and try and find a lip spoiler for the rear before submitting anything. I'm also going to strip, and either leave, or repaint the bumpers. I guess my prep-work was sub-par on them, and the paint and clearcoat flaked off (dupli-color wheel paint, very expensive and didnt last long at all-- very dissapointed, unfortunately).

Ive learned not to count this thing out, it always seems to make a come back, even from its worst states. I need to get some money together! Since school started, i havnt been working at the shop, hardly at all. Hopefully i can get in a lot of work after school tomorrow, and all day saturday, and maybe even go in sunday and just work in the garage all day with nobody else around-- stay tuned, and thanks for following through the slow progress, and numerous set-backs

It's seeming like something a service will at least drastically improve. It's been really good the past few days with shifting, but something, most likely the torque converter, I'd definitely whining. I did some more sanding with the body work, hopefully on more round of bondo work and sanding and it'll all be ready for primer, and some sort of well-matching spray paint to cover it.

But you're right, it's just a good 'ol Chevy ZF 4+OD trans

Yeah, everything is expensive on this thing. I've gotten pretty good with these cars though, so I can at least save on labor on most things.

The epoxy worked wonders on the radiator, too. Thank you based god.

Got the bucket back today from the shop, some success, and some not-success.

Got my A/C working, turns out there was just no belt on the compressor. However, the reason for that is that the compressor is loud as fuck all. It's still scraping in the rear too, even with new pads and rotors. The new tires are nice. I went down to 225/45 this time. I found out that my RR u-joint is shot and that most of my hub bearings are shot, also. $$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$
