Hello yes buy one or both 5 speed XJ40's are extremely hard to come by and the auto trans's aren't that good so a manual is all the better.

Money saving is going bad. But updates exist. More to come once it gets warmer out, as always. Mounted a vintage set of Enkei 24's that I've been sitting on for a while with 195/50/15's

Okay I figured it out. Figured I'd pick up where I left off. Spent the last 2 years building a handful of cars but keeping my eye out for a new, nicer cat to build. Ended up coming across a very clean '93 with 115k on it and made the purchase. Lowered it, substantially to say the least, and now I'm looking to save up some money before I dive much deeper in to it.

Thanks for the nice words! Converted to struts in the rear as opposed to the original SLS, and cut what I remember to be 1.5 coils on the rear.

It's always been in my plan to do a ls1 swap with a big heavy duty GM trans. I think what I'll do is sell the style 5's to get a daily, and stash this at my shop for a while until the time comes. I have an '01 ram truck that needs work sitting behind my shop in the weeds that I could drive until the time comes.

don't scrap it....350 chevy and trans, you'd be surprised how cheap it could be. A popular swap too.

So, I was banking on a transmission service taking care of the problem, however, it's still just a total slush box :*( I guess it's time to strip this down and sent it to the scrap heap. Anyone interested in a cheap set of style 5's with new 225/45's in need of a total refinish, hum I guess.
