Back from death- the revival of a 74 BMW 2002

I have been having a lot of trouble getting a 205/40/16 on my 16x10. Is there anyone out there who has stretched a tire this severe that has any tricks??? I got the face seated but the inner barrel side has no chance of seating with wd40 and a lighter. I am about to give up on 205/40 and grab a 215/40.

whats the offset on those rears? im looking at getting the same wheels but cant find any good pictures of a 16x10 0 offset

The rears are 16x10 et -25. Tyrestretch may have some pics if et 0 for ya.

So i grabbed a set of boring old seats from this guy in cali. He kept telling me he was on this forum but I haven't found him yet. I think his name was mark or mike or matt... But anyways they will add a little style to the 02. I may have to grab a few pillows before h20 though.







Im not trying to jock rustys style but these seats have given me chills ever since i saw him upload them. and they actually are more comfortable than you would think.

Thanks man, it's been a week since I have turned a wrench but that is all about to change this weekend

Very true, but realize that last weekend we got 27inches of snow and the weather hasn't broken 30 in a week. And my garage is just a barn with no heat or electricity. This car is getting built off of drop lights and extension cords lol. I feel your pain!
