Agreed, I plan on swapping in a Fi m10 in the very near future for a turbo build so I can use some extra gauge clustersOriginally posted by deutschman View PostI think copying something is chill unless it has a copy write or some sort of patent on it. In this case its a one off dash that is not being mass produced so I think you have no worries if you strait up copy it.
Semantics
Its going to be cool no matter what

Thanks and yeah meant the 02. That's a hefty price for something rotten.Originally posted by rhoderacer View PostMy bad. The orange 2002 is priced at 5k obo and has a lot of rot bubbling through the bondo in the rear fender/ rocker area. It looks good from far, but far from good.
You should lookup garage journal to see how you can transform ur barn into a proper garage.

It is a garage in the works. Power is being installed soon hopefully. Also after talking to a few friends today, there may be some interest in chipping in for a lift this spring/ summer.Originally posted by TeckniX View PostThanks and yeah meant the 02. That's a hefty price for something rotten.

the interior is finished until i get a carpet and my bag setup. 100 times better than it was when i first bought the car. Solid floors, comfy seats, and a fresh unrusted rooftop.

Me and a friend figured out a way to mount the removable sunroof. I will be using 2 corvette convertable latches and some custom brackets. This will allow me to keep the sunroof and lose all of that unwanted waight from the assembly.

Hes keeping the original sun roof, but he is scrapping the manual sliding system in favor of a sun roof that will be completely removable through the use of some Corvette latches.Originally posted by TeckniX View PostLooking good dude - So you're making a t-top out of your roof, or just converting it to a manual sunroof?
2002 never came with electric sun roofs from BMW as fare as I know, all though I have seen them installed as after market dealer options.
