Weekend being here, updates soon?

so after hours of straining and lighting fires, me and two good friends (travis and dave) were able to seat the rear tire. It is a 205/40/16 on a 16x10. the stretch is great and allows me to get the rear subframe/ gas tank 1/2 inch off the ground. After a little bit of measuring and math, there is around 9 degrees of camber. about half the tire is not touching the ground. Now time for some picture whoring
the most solid part of the car.

Progress began on the driverside. The rustless minty front fender was hacked up to fit the new VW fender. this time i took a few pictures to show the steps.
The first step is to cut the original fender about 2 1/2 inches from the lip.
Next you can begin to shape the original fender to the shape of the VW flare.
Next, the front of the VW fender gets stress cuts to allow it to wrap into the original nose section of the car.
Finally it can be welded into position.
I also managed to mount my custom metal gass pedal to the pedal box.
This weekend the drivers rear fender will be fab'd ups
