                doesnt feel natural, and also I work out with a lot of people so I have to hear what they are saying

                  oh gotcha. yeah i can't work out with alot of people. cause if they can't run and keep up i have to wait. and if i can't run and keep up they have to wait. i go alone.

                    true, Im not a runner im a trainer so I am used to waiting on people and we mainly do interval training any way

                        For me, it was alcohol, and not smokes but i think the two are relatable as addictions. I quit cold turkey by re-associating the act of drinking with all the things it made me lose over the years and the negative impact it had on my life.

                        If it's possible to take your association of smoking with pleasure and replace it with displeasure, then that should help the mental side of it anyway.
