i used to smoke about 5-7 ciggs a day and just got fed up with it and told myself that I was only allowed to have one a day. then I wouldnt freak out during the day because i knew when I got home I would get to have one.. After a few months of that, I would start skipping my "one a day" cigarette because the cravings were just not there. now I have maybe 2-3 a week. i've only smoked american spirits which apparently don't have as many chemicals

Well Ive been smoke free for 2 weeks. Not gonna lie, it kinda sucks... a lot. Im just always in a pissed off irritated mood all the time. Even the smallest thing like my roommates playing cod and talking loudly piss me off. I guess its withdraw, but if it stays like this for much longer I just might have start smoking.

If you pick it back up, because you are being irritable, then you really never wanted to quit in the first place. If you want to quit, quit, you will get through it, just like any addiction, there are down sides to quitting (or seems that way) until you get through it.

For me, it got expensive fast. $75/month is too much for me, especially when im in college. Plus that money could go to better things. I keep saving it and put it towards my car. Thats helping me quit. Example: "boy I really want this shift knob, but its $80, if I don't smoke this month I can buy it..." makes everything easier. Plus the girlfriend is supportive and none of my college friends smoke so im rarely around it.

But it does get hard at some points. Sitting in our attic just chilling and someone pulls out a cig, going to partys where people are smoking, just anytime you see/smell a cigarette I in a pissed off mood. Not necessary craving one because I honestly don't want one, hell the smell of it even stinks now. Its just wanting one so you wont be frustrated and pissed off all the time.

Its been a few days over 2 weeks since I had a cigarette. Feels good

I've always wanted to get addicted just to try and quit so I can see how hard it is.
