i only locked up the fronts there, but because i was sideways and on the throttle moments before that, i'm still going sideways while trying to stop, so there was still smoke coming from the rear guards
ha ha i think you know the answer to the first question, no LOL
i'll wash it once i fix all the issues, but for now its a dirty bitch
didn't get any work done on the loom today, it was freeking cold outside with rain and wind gusts of up to 100km/h, so i stayed inside with the heater on lol
ooh and my favourite photo from the drift day is this, early morning shot of us waiting at the entry for the gates to open
I have to do the same with my loom and i'm not looking forward to it. Good luck, hope it ends up being easy.
yeah i greatly under estimated the task at hand
there is 66 wires in the wiring loom that ran inside the guard
i had to label every single one of them so i would not mix them up
had a bit of trouble finding the correct gauge wiring without spending a fortune on buying wires, but then had a stroke of genius and went to a wrecking yard and cut out a section of wiring loom from a S13 silvia and got that for free.
so now i should have all the necessary bits to press on with the task at hand
so i've decided to bite the bullet and chop the loom in half
the plan is to lengthen and re-run wires from the fuse/relay box near the washer bottle down under the fuse box and along the chassis rail and then back up under the brake booster into the enlarged hole where the bonnet release cable passes through
I have to do the same with my loom and i'm not looking forward to it. Good luck, hope it ends up being easy.
