update
went to a Drift Day on the 18th of June
had lots of fun and have a few photos to photobomb on here later
few issues to fix after the drift day
driving low and scraping the exhaust caused the turbo gasket to leak, so the turbo will have to come off once again
need to replace the worn rosejoints on the toe arms
need better front tires
possibly a steering rack rebuild
this weekend went to the StanceWorks Melbourne Meet
while parking the tire caught my wiring loom shield and sliced into some wires,
leaving the meet, had power to the engine and headlights, nothing else worked, no brake lights, no windows, no dash and etc had to manualy wind up the pop up lights coz the motors were not getting any power either
on the way home got power back to most things but lost headlights, and whenever i braked or indicated the headunit would turn off and on.
this kinda pushed me to a decision to do a full wiring loom relocation inside the enginebay
i have searched for the way that people have relocated their loom into the engine bay and most people ran it over the strut tower and back down into the guard through the standard gromet/hole
i did not like the idea of running the loom back inside the guard beause the problem area is the rubber gromet area
so i've decided to bite the bullet and chop the loom in half
the plan is to lengthen and re-run wires from the fuse/relay box near the washer bottle down under the fuse box and along the chassis rail and then back up under the brake booster into the enlarged hole where the bonnet release cable passes throughDrinking Enthusiast with a Car Problem

there is 66 wires in the wiring loom that ran inside the guard
i had to label every single one of them so i would not mix them up
had a bit of trouble finding the correct gauge wiring without spending a fortune on buying wires, but then had a stroke of genius and went to a wrecking yard and cut out a section of wiring loom from a S13 silvia and got that for free.
so now i should have all the necessary bits to press on with the task at hand
should hopefully make some good progress tomorrowDrinking Enthusiast with a Car Problem
