  • Finally have now got all the paperwork side of the engineering in principle approved from the state transport department which is more good news. Although while waiting for this ive schemed up another plan for the merc, will have to run it past the approving engineer to see if its going to fly.

Meanwhile, getting rid of the mess on the driveway.. Ive got a new couch for the shed. just need to weld a couple of casters under the front..

and possibly a stupid idea to skin the box trailer....

As per ur PM and in case it helps others, I got them ex germany based on the size 16x7" no real idea on model... think just common winter rims over there i believe.

So the little addition ive been working on for the merc is a turbo setup. Have spent a fair time researching etc and playing with it all getting it to fit within the tight chassis rails... should be fun

did you ever think about fitting the supercharged version of this engine?

                • never really thought about airbaggin it either when I started.. things snowball, plus I have a habit not being able to leave things alone. Ideally I would be better off putting a turbo on the l67(s/c) engine as well... but...

have got the header manifolds machined and bolted up, just working on the cross over... collector sorted

You could just buy the s/c block later for when you want to up the boost and swap em out

lowered, because it makes the boobies bounce

but... i cocked up and didnt check the flange angle before laying into it with the welder.... will need to be cut and redone
