Been a little occupied with the new additions of late, managed to pull the sunroof out to find most of the internal steel frame missing.. major rust!
The internal roof support frame was a bit better
Have stripped most from the latest donor, have also decided to run the factory aircon unit and consol. Along with this, came to the realisation that the buick wiring harness was a bad decision.
Have the donor wiring loom incl aircon harness now fitted and stripping back the buick to just ecu required… nightmare.. oh, windows are back out as well to fit sunroof and hood lining.
Have made a fair bit of unseen progress of late, finally have the wiring 95% complete with all factory electrics working. Now running a modified chip in the ecu which removes lots of the factory vehicle add ons, but yet to crank it over in anger.
Internal sunroof frame welded in, burnt all my new highly flammable carpet… lesson learnt.
Then the big cut…
Hours of banging away with a carpenters hammer and we are getting somewhere. Still a lot of rust repairs to be made to the sunroof door and sliding frame.
