Well some of you will be happy to see this and some of you won't... But I don't give a shit lol. I have changed my mind and the 02 will be static. I have already installed coilovers in the rear and soon to be in the front. I chose 350lb in the rear and I have a set of 500lb for the front. I may be going down to 350lb in the front if it is too stiff(which it will be). Also I found out that the motor has done 468,000 miles. Still looking around for a possible motor swap option.

Pretty sweet! I'm not sure how you're going to be able to drive it static and as low as you want though? It looks like if you hit even a pebble the tire will hit the bottom of the flare. Is this the case or are the pictures deceiving?

The wheels will have about 2 inches of travel in the fender when I spin the coils down to a proper height. The pictures are a little deceiving. I'm not too worried about the tire hitting the fender because of the heavy spring rates.Originally posted by M.Doban View PostPretty sweet! I am using rear r53 Mini Cooper vmaxx coils and they fit perfect. They go a lot lower too!Originally posted by Dutchtouring View Postwhat kind of coilover did you use? from what car?

spent a few hours making the trunk smooth. 3 cans of filler primer later...

also started sanding down the driver side.

I have spent hours trying to get the driver side shock cartrige out of the shock tube. I have used heat, pb blaster, and a 8lb slide waight. I dont know any way else to get it out other than replacing the whole set-up. feel free to voice your trick to getting this damn thing out!!
