  • This truck and the ETS drift ute make me want to find a truck to start sliding around. One question though. Why did you go with the W58 instead of say an R154 for the transmission?

because its an $80 trans where a r154 is a $700 trans. so if i grenade one at the track I'm not going to go cry about it. ill go to the junk yard and pull another one and be done with it.

          haha sup bills

some small updates for the truck since next weekend is the first round of the points series.

installed a stereo again since i get bored in staging lanes.

got tires ( big thanks to s10dude )

and i lowered the back of the truck about 1.5" to get it to sit level. made new lower shock tabs.

          and the result

and got a puppy (i know not truck related but awesome)

would smaller spacers work? or are they as narrow as they can be?

                    • I've only found ones 1/4" narrower. Still wont be enough.

                      • so the first round of drift colorado's points series happened over the weekend. went and drove and had a killer time.. qualified in the top 16. but the truck had issues and i lost the top 16 tandem battle =/ oh well still happy i made it in and got to drive. time for more tweaking.

                        both of my qualifying runs

and some pictures for you guys.

just trial and error really i had 450lb springs on the rear before, but that was too much so i dropped down to a 350lb spring upped the dampening and added a rear sway bar. now its much better and on the front I'm using what ever rate is on the tanabe sustec pro's.

and yes i am on instagram @brandonpejsa

                              • I love the build and everything that's gone into it. But with the extension of the cab the bed just looks too short to me. Have you considered using a longbed, and taking it off when drifting?
