Wish I wasn't a poor college kid, my 944 is just stock and finally running.

That silly tail pipe is now 2" shorter - shame it took a year to get round to it as it looked crap. Looks factory now-

I look after the underside, so I thought id would show you it, its good for its age.

The gearing is a bit short, it seems to make little difference being in 4th or 5th when you floor it and 1st is a waste of time.
Here is a quick clip to show the gears, i had to keep lifting for traffic but you get the idea, (its gets to 110 quite easily.)

    So I bought this -

A G31 Dogleg with LSD, with all conversion parts to fit my 944 including a speedo drive set up

Today, I'm swapping the 944 torsion bars and onto the G31s rear beam.
I will use my alloy arms, brembos, turbo d/shafts and turbo torsion bars but the 924 rear tube.

In all, I will have taller gears, stronger box and a cool 80s dogleg change..

    Thanks ^^

The Bosch pump got noisy, now replaced with this Walbro 255.

After 2 years I replaced the non scripted drivers handle with the correct matching one.

Infact there are lots of little bits I change all the time, when they come up. Never worth posting about though, for instance you will notice the l/h/r tail light was a darker lens and they were replaced with a matching set, and the spare wheel was replaced with a magnesium one from a 993 as it fits over the Brembos, I also bought the Bilstein alloy jack from that car.
Slowly I purchased all the little things, complete tool kit, hand books, sunroof bag, ect..

But as one thing is fixed another needs attention -now the outer CV boots, wire fault on o/s main beam

And a period genuine RUF badge has to be better than a sticker right?

you can't buy a Ruf badge, not even from Ruf unless you have a chassis number - so that was a rare find, pleased with that.

You can try to get hold of a FOHA lip Fairly rare..

It was an option back in the days.

Check out this thread on rennlist:
924/931/944/951/968 Forum - FS: Foha front lip for n/a 944 - Ive decided to sell my Foha front lip for the 944 n/a after some deliberation. This is a extremely hard to find part and took me around 3 years of on and off looking before i found this new old stock part on eBay. To date i have only come across three other...
