Quick update, since I don't have time to get into detail...

I'll start off by showing the current look of the car. The rack is off because I missed getting 35+ mpg, and the lip is off because I broke the unholy crap out of it. I'm trying to find time to repair it, and I have the vinyl I need to wrap it sitting in the car. I've also added a billet shorty antenna.


I FINALLY got a chance to buff the car yesterday before a local meet. Here's a shot taken by a local photographer:


And one he got of my car back in April at the CCSU Spring show which we sponsored, note how bad the paint was before...


Here's the new center console. Please excuse the FILTH around it, I was sick as a dog and hadn't had a chance to vacuum the car. This pic was taken the day we left for Carlisle. I'm still not sure how I feel about it. I'll probably re-shoot the shifter surround in piano black.


And here's a shot of the suede door pull surrounds. Please continue to excuse the filth. What a horrible week leading up to Carlisle...



Anyway, I've finally gotten the car clean again, the paint soft, and the work flowing. I'm happy with the progress the car has made so far this year.

I pulled the lock collars out a few weeks ago. Back down to the same height I was last year, but on 17s.

Well, I finally got a chance to clean the car for the first time in months with the help of a tremendously generous young lady. I also went to Staggered Fall Edition yesterday and trolled on all of the Subarus. Overall, I had a good day, including some Subaru kid hitting on aforementioned young lady in my passenger's seat/ insulting my car/ getting shut right the Hell down while we were pulling into the show. I'm losing a lot of interest in the car scene, I'm more than happy with enjoying the car on my own and having a good time with the friends I have.

Here are a few shots I took in Middletown, and one I took in the Copernicus Garage on campus.

Car looks great man, has come a looooooooooong way since you first joined up. Only thing I'm kinda iffy about, is the head lights / grille. Its almost as they take up to much attention. Painting the grille or inner headlights matte black or something would help it in my opinion.

Thanks so much for the kind words! I tried to get some contrast in the car with the headlights, since the grille was just kind of a silver blob in the middle of the car. It definitely works better with the FocusSport lip.
