Great choice, enjoy it! I've considered updating this thread, but I'm not sure the forum would be too impressed by the progress. The car now has a Garrett GTX2867R turbo, Torsen LSD, Exedy clutch/flywheel, custom tune, and some other stuff int he works. I've raised it up a bit and have been trying to race it as much as possible this season.

She's still the same, old Focus; but with 300hp now.

Yeah, I'm contemplating posting mine here, as I'm messing around with a budget rally build. Already have 215/60/16's on the stock 16's and am going to get mudflaps and either a skidplate or some sort of suspension build. Not pretty, but the stock suspension handles offroad pretty well.

Yours is a dura right? Mine has a lower mileage zetec swapped in that's had the top end refreshed. Do the ST's share the trans with the SVT or is it similar? I just got the clutch changed on mine, and I think my trans is on it's way out, thinking of doing the SVT 6 speed, but it will cost more money than I want to. If the ST trans is better than the regular zx3 trans, than I'll be all over it.

Don't know if you're still going to check this thread, but I sold my genesis and got a mk1 focus. Re read this and now I'm actually glad I chose it over a civic or 240sx.

Yeah I was thinking of doing that, but to be honest it's settled a bit up front from that pic and isn't as drastic as it looks.

Yeah I just hear a terrible sound that I assume is just fender liners. One of these days I'll chalk them up and see where I'm really rubbing.

Read the whole thread and I must say only two people have (yet) proven me that a focus isn't always a bad thing. But could be a very good (looking) thing. And you sir are one of those two people.

On the volvo however for a sec I thought I saw an frisian flag on the gascap.

Got excited and then got dissapointed haha.

I appreciate the compliments! There are plenty of good-looking Focuses out there, and even a few on S|W. Search around, you'll be pleasantly surprised! The Focus is a really good-looking car in my opinion, you just need to do a little work to bring out its attitude.

The gas cap on the Volvo is a silly thing, but I think it'll always be on the car in one form or another.

No. Factory turbo 240s are actually relatively rare.

Dude sick! Finally seeing another focus. I have an 05 ST. My build is coming along slowly but surely. I'm on Ksports and 18x8 Team Dynamics. I am rubbing like a bitch on dips even after having my fenders rolled. I think it's just the liners, but I'm not 100% sure. Did you remove your liners?

Very good-looking car! I like the TDs, but if I were you I'd bring the tail up a little bit to get rid of the uneven gap.

I never specifically removed my fender liners, I just sort of ran them over.
