ya same name on motorgeek, been on there a while and many projects...jetta quattro vr6, v8 5speed swap, few 20vt's...

swapped out the new oem trans mounts for the 034 track mounts, mounted the crank speed sensor, bolted the motor in and let it sit on its own rollers.

Are you on motorgeek also? I have been on there reading and just soaking in soo much info. That site has a ridiculous amount of awesome builds. I want to get into an i5 now.

thought about it. i did that on my5speed conversion v8q and everyone still refers to my documentation as a "fix"... but that is anther harness and tcu to wire in and provide more space for. i am missing the selector box on the trans to tell the tcu what gear it has been put it in...

Jeff over at Global Garage gave me the hookup on his DTA from his rabbit 16vt that rivals Motec. he wanted a heads up display that 034 standalone could do while DTA couldn't...so ya.

i got big plans. and this gets me there this year instead of next. this is the first time where my daily isnt my project.

little item from this old project... will need fitted to the 3.6

What if you left the park switch attached to the harness and had it manually activated full time?

could call going standalone bitching out...but i don't want to dick around with an ecu that people over the last 20years have been trying to figure out....only one 1 known chip tune available (i have)... i have most of the tools do my own chip tuning, but getting any kind of coding info out of the tiny self editing audi motronic community... its like asking for a free ounce of gold. basically have to prove myself before they will help.

trust me, if i could, i would. the little knowledge i have acquired pertains to the rs2/s2/s4 m2.3.2 ecu's. i daily a m2.3 and coding is little different(trying to learn on my coding)...the v8 runs m2.4 and it totally different than any prior. all the memory locations for fuel and ignition maps are all different.

    after it runs.... 20lb bottle...
