Also depends on what area you live in and living costs associated with that area. It's a lot easier to own a few cars, a house, and some land out in bumblefuck than it is to do that in or right outside a big city (no offense to anyone who lives out in the boonies)

I've had my MK4 for almost 7 years and owned a MK2 for a few months as a winter beater. It'd be nice to have another car but it doesn't make sense to for me given that I don't need to drive all that much and don't have anywhere to park another car as my family already has 4 cars total in a house with 2 driveway spots and a garage

1931 Ford Roaster (Parts from my father's collection to be built as a hot rod)

^ Exactly. I can barely afford the one I have...

Lifestyle and other things take priority, paying for college takes almost all of my spare cash but i'm doing fairly well since i'm in my junior year and only owe $5500 in student loans.

My job also pays shit. Being a waiter/bartender sucks at a shitty non-busy restaurant.

I've been driving for 6 years and have only owned one car at a time until last week when I picked up an e28 to replace my e46, which is now up for sale. As much as I'd like to own more than one vehicles, it's just not reasonable on a college kids budget, I'd rather have one clean ride than 6 project cars and a beater.

Most cars i've ever owned at any given time was 3. I currently have two.......one serves as a daily and the other is my weekend toy.

On car #1 after 4 years. What can I say, I love my E30. This past year has been a good year for the E30 too.

Oh, and in California I don't need a winter car.
                                Wut?
