How can anyone own just one car at a time?

1998 audi a4 (daily)
1991 GMC sonoma (beater)

the truck is just for when i cant drive the audi lol. it gets alot of down time but i still love it.

Right now I just daily drive the subaru. Next year when I really dig deep into it I will need a daily. Will prob pick up a MK3 gti or a B4 TDI Passat. Slam it, some sort of wide cheap, 3 pice wheels, and streched snows. When done the subaru will only be drive in the summer show season and on nice days. All other times it will be covered and garaged. I agree, depending on how serious your project car is, another car is sometimes needed.

I had 5 at one point while I was in college, my 98 passat daily, 92 VR corrado with 46k original miles which I felt bad driving cuz of the low miles, a 77 and a 78 German rabbit and a 4 door mk3 golf.. My ex and my parents all taught I had hording issues.Which I probably have. Especially when it comes to wheels.

now I have 2 identical w210 benzo wagon's, but ones for sale now and hoping to get rid of it soon. So I will be back to 1 car for a bit.

Don't get me started on bikes tho, I had way too many, like 8 in a year, a couple of years ago.

I feel your pain man. I'm at just one right now and **** life. A few months back, this was my stable:

Planned on keeping the 335i stock for a nice daily, stancing the E30, and the Vette, well, 440whp is a fun toy

Just recently got rid of my Subaru. That was car #4.

Downsizing due to the fact I'm renting/leasing my home. Rather buy a house, than pay insurance which is expensive in dear "Ol Taxachussettes.

My wife and I each have two cars... I have my 95' AMG c36 and a 78 Toyota Landcruiser with a fuel injected Ford 351. My wife drives a 2004 Liberty and has a 91' VW Cabriolet as a sunny day car. You can see three of them here... I'm actually in the process of trying to get rid of the Landcruiser so I have more room in the driveway.

Its not humanly possible especially if you modify or drive your cars (especially "vintage" cars that have a tendency to break and parts are impossible to find). I've started scaling down again but im down to the ones i convinced myself i'd never sell. At one point I was pushing over 10 cars (the ones in the list including stroked and bored e30 325i, e30 318i that i built a bad ass turbo M10 engine for, 79 320i race car that im currently trying to sell, a 733i) not including my motorcycles which are a whole other addiction (2 race bikes, 2 vintage BMW's and my daily rider)

I'd say my illness is more that I need all my cars to be stanced even if that means sacrificing practicality and comfort. lol I can't stand getting into an unfitted 4x4 car. Right now I have 2 obnoxious, impractical cars. I also have a 240 at home that's not on the road. I refuse to drive it until I have money to slam and fit it, which won't happen so I'm selling it. I keep telling myself I'm going VIP next so I can have a little comfort in my life but I know I'll end up static slamming it and ruining that haha

ive never had any job whatsoever and i have 3 cars (only one is currently running) and im 18. i buy and sell cars on craigslist for a profit and thats whats paid for all my cars over the last 3 yrs. ive even made enough off it to pay for all of my gas too haha.
