must be, Because Any Schassis local here or Nissan guy has put his or her own money into it. I only know of Honda Kids who spend their parents money. Friends got 30K into his RSX all from mom and pops. Widebody, K24 Turbo track monster.

The Subaru scene in my local are is pretty cool. We were all in school and too broke to buy anything new until last year. We were stuck with shitty GL wagons.

For the record though, the VW scene is worse out here, way worse.

but yeah, IMO the VW scene has really gone to shit in the 5 years I've been around it. There are more cars built for attention, rather than for the love of the cars, and it shows in the lack of quality and progression. There are still people building amazing VWs, but seems like they are becoming more few and far between.

I've given up with a lot of car shows over here, seams to be the same people always winning, more who you know that what you've done.

no doubt there's great cars build to be a car not just for the attention but they get over looked. They're the favourite cars i look for at shows now.
