which scene is worse?

just curious what everyone's opinions are. which scene do you think is worse, honda or vw?

i always used to think the honda scene was the absolute worst, which is why i wanted to get out of it. but being on pa dubbers on facebook, i think the vw scene is just as bad if not worse. at least the honda kids buy their own shit. sure most of them look like trash, but for the most part. the kids are at least buying them. vw scene seems to have a lot of mommy and daddy sponsored swag yolo kids.

I would have to agree with you, after moving to different areas with all kind of scenes the best was the east coast.

The honda/nissan kids were the kind to work on their own car or with friends.

The VW scene were kids that got a hand me down car or something similar and paid a shop to do all their work.

nailed it. just from being at local car meets. its the nissan, mazda, and honda guys that are usually cool and talking to people. the vw kids usually just sit off to the side in their car by themselves.

but yeah, IMO the VW scene has really gone to shit in the 5 years I've been around it. There are more cars built for attention, rather than for the love of the cars, and it shows in the lack of quality and progression. There are still people building amazing VWs, but seems like they are becoming more few and far between.
