  • I'm not trying to cut carbs completely, just cut back on them.

    Don't mind my crazy hair, but I took this after the gym this morning. 190.6 lbs and my waist is a 33-34 depending on the jeans.



    I think I am around 14% bodyfat from the research I have done.

      • Week 5 of Madcow Intermediate 5x5 starts on Monday for me. This is what my week is looking like at the gym. Its the first week of "heavy" lifting. Looking forward to having my ass kicked every day lol. I need to work on my diet though. Being on the road all day makes it pretty difficult

          • I need to get back into the swing of things gym wise. Hopefully looking at this thread will help as much as I'm on here.

            After I finished the madcow 5x5 last year I had my bests at:

            Bench: 210
            Squat: 305
            Deadlift: inconclusive... messed up my back from improper form

            Either way I thought that was pretty decent considering I'm 5'8" and was 165lbs at the time

            Since I've only been going 1-2 times a week lately my gains have shrank some and I'm now at 158 lbs and with my diet being way worse I'm surprised I'm losing weight.

                • I think I'll be reaching a plateau in my bench soon. The weight didnt want to go up at all today. I made all my lifts, but fuck it was hard hahaha

                    were you happy with the gains on your 6 weeks or so of that program?

                    i have one week left at my gym membership, so i'm focusing on my training during that time, but don't want to renew for the 3 weeks that i will be here considering most of the time will be spent doing tourist shit and packing, so i will start lifting during that time.
