my recommendation is to do starting strength, and focus a lot on your technique.

I do a combination of starting strength and reverse pyramid, depending on the exercise. I do reverse pyramid on my big lifts (bench, squats, deadlifts, etc.) and starting strength on the accessory lifts (incline bench, leg extensions, curls, etc.)

Gonna start a 6 week program on monday. I found it online but it seems pretty legit and I really need to switch up my routine.
With that being said, I'm gonna be limited in how hard I can go. I was at the Novacare Center/Rothman Institute (Phillies and Eagles facility) and it looks like I might have torn the labrum in my right hip and I have a sports hernia. The doctor doesn't think I'll need surgery for each, but I have to go through a month of physical therapy first before I find out for sure.Last edited by Jersh; 05-30-2013, 12:30 AM.///M 2.0G60 POWAR... never forget

Ive been reading on the Westside-Barbell Conjugate Method. So Im gonna give it a shot. heres how it will look. Im still fine tuning it through tomorrow, but this is the basic idea
Moday:
Max Effort Squat or Deadlift (work up to 1RM)
Good Mornings
something for hamstrings
reverse hyperextensions
some kind of rows
Wednesday:
Max Effort bench (work up to 1RM)
incline press
skull crushers
lat pulldowns
overhead press
Friday:
Dynamic Effort Squat or Deadlift (12x2 @ 80% of 1RM, but do them super fast)
Good Mornings
something for hamstrings
reverse hyperextensions
some kind of rows
Saturday:
Dynamic Effort bench (9x3 @ 50% of 1RM, but do them super fast)
incline press
skull crushers
lat pulldowns
overhead press
Alternate squat and deads every other week.
Like I said, Im still reading up on this. So by tomorrow I should have it more narrowed down on to exactly what my first week is gonna look like with it
