Car looks good. Engine bay too. But I had a 2.0 ABA in my Jetta. Wouldn't it make this more of a "Slow-raddo"? Just kidding. Love the work and the look!

    progress IS a slow process

Thanks man. I will say even before all the engine work and the car loosing about 200lbs It was surprisingly quick. Now it feels like a totally different car. It's not the fastest thing in thr world but it has enough power to make it so you can drive it hard and have a ton of fun.

Thanks man! I'm hoping to get back into something 3pc again soon since I can't run TE37V's in 15x9 due to the offsets being designed more for early Toyota's

Got sent this picture of my buddy Ryland and I driving around Louisville.

I don't think I'd ever own a Volkswagen... But if I did. Corrado.

Your wagon looks flipping awesome. And you don't true own a car (other than brand new) until it
a: Shuts off and wont start
              b: tries to kill you
              c: tries to maim you.

              Love the red too.

I honestly thought I was going to try something new and get away from VW's a bit after owning 9 other VW's but then this thing came around.

thanks man. Doing the best I can but taking a small break so I can focus on some house things that need to be taken care of. Debating what is next for the car. Either new wheels (refinish and rebuild something) or more power.

Well the trip to Wekfest in Chicago was great. The car made the 3 hour drive to & from Indianapolis with no issues.
A lot of people seemed to enjoy the car which was nice to see since it is mostly a jdm type show. Also glad I got to spend some time hanging out with the LS guys from Milwaukee.
Here are a few pictures I snapped over the weekend of the car.

The corrado made another roadtrip this past weekend to Cincy to visit some friends and to help my friend Jasen get his Mk3 moved to his new home.

but the trip also decided it wanted break my exhuast on the way back home. Found out yesterday since it sounded like my car had an exhuast leak when I got home. Car is so loud and sounds terrible currently. :banghead:

Also thought I would change things up on the car.
I found a set 16x9 Schmidt Modernlines with 195/40 Sdrives on them for a good price and jumped on them. I have never been fully sold on the F-zero2's that are currently on the car, I think it looks great but the sizing just seems off to me.
Lucky for me I have a spare damged 16x9 modernline laying around so I test fitted it to get and idea of the look.

The wheel should be here next week and I can't wait.

At least I wasn't the only one thinking the 15's were a touch small. I do like the F-zeros but they never seemed quite right for the car. Definitely stoked to see the new wheels mounted.

They are one of my favorite wheels and when a deal came up to have another set I just had to take it. Never mind that I have already owned a set before.

I agree. There are few guys that have really pulled off the 15" look on a corrado but in my case the wheels needed to be wider and more aggressive to really pull that look off. If the 9.5's would have worked I think it would have made more sense as to what I was going for.
But I think the Modernlines will really make the sit just right and make it look a bit more classy. They shipped out yesterday and should be here tomorrow.
