    Well looks like I'll be buying the subframe assembly off of Joe Dale's "panzer" w114. The fab work on this thing is incredible. Making the trip down to DC to pick it up in a couple weeks.

    Some close-ups of what the copper is starting to look like after a little bit of polishing. Also floors came in, well one of the 2 did so thats going in this weekend.

    The exhaust tip is kind of deceiving too cause there won't be on. Exhaust will be comeing straight out of the passenger side front fender

    yeah the rear (in its current state) is throwing me a little as well but confidant you will finish it just fine. I wonder what if you bring up the exhast tip and put it through the lower rear?

    I thought of that too lol, but I don't want to put the chrome trim back on the center body line. Especially after having gone through the trouble of plugging them all up with weld.

    Its hard to tell the shape from the picture and the angle. Also only the left side is in the more finished state, so the right side throws it off. I 'm hoping to make the rear bottom come in a little more to give about a 2" radius and have that follow through and blend into the corners to round those out a little more too. It'll be tricky in that spot but there's a little room left for play.

    Imho, I think you should have tucked that bottom rear section more, to give it a more rounded look.... It looks to square now somehow.
