Messed around with diamond pleats last night. Easier than I thought. Gotta mess around with making nice edges though. I think I'll do something like this for the floor matts too.

Picked up the HRE's, I ordered a second set with 16" lips/barrels on them but no center caps, so if anyone wants to buy a set of 15" HRE 504 without caps let me know.

So I caved last night and bought a nice heavy duty machine, picked out my materials too. Going with a brown similar to the spyker on most of the car, the pillars and headliner will be black and the thread for all of it will be a dark brown. Whats nice about the dark brown thread is that it contrasts a little bit on both the black and the lighter brown and the black.

Oh and here's some photos of the wheels too. Now i just need to find some 16" 20 hole lips/barrels. Found 2 outers and 4 inners, but need to find 2 more outers.

Its funny you mention that because the spyker is largely responsible for my inspiration on this interior of my car.

    what he says

imo it all depends on what color/shade your leather and piping will be

    that said tho

    black/copper
    brown/black

how well does the copper thread match? to me the black leather and copper thread would be classy, but then again so would the brown leather depending. I feel if you could find distressed brown "cigar" leather that would be badass.

So I took it upon myself to learn upholstery last night. Bought some scrap vinyl and some spools of thread and got to making french seams all night. I wanted to learn how to do it by hand before using the machine. I'll tell you what though, takes 2 hours to do a small section by hand like the one pictured and about 30 seconds on the machine. Glad I learned but I'll definitely be using the machine on this one. Never realized how hard it was to make straight stitches by hand too unless you mark it good and pre punch.

Anyways, I'm torn between these four combinations for the interior:

    1. Black Leather, Copper colored metallic stitching
    2. Black Leather, Steel colored stitching (kind of like a silvery grey
    3. Brown Leather, Copper stitching
    4. Brown Leather, Black Stitching

This would be for things like the door cards, headliner, pillars, "carpets" and dash
