Stuff happened
HEY MY BUILD THREAD IS BACK!!For now... Hopefully...
But anyways, me and my dad bought a welder and welded some shit up.
Driver's side (before rust conversion)
Still need to weld the pedal bracket back in.
Passenger's side (after rust conversion)
Also pulled the carpet out, plan on washing it tomorrow.
Vertical pic, i know.
SO anyways, going to SoWo this weekend so the floor will be finished in about 2 weeks. I applied for a job at Taco Bell so if that happens here are my plans for this summer that may or may not happen:
1. Finish style 5s, needs to be done cause my dad doesn't want to put new tires on the bottlecaps.
2. Get coilovers, also needs to be done because my dad doesn't want to replace the blown strut if we are going to end up getting coilovers anyways.
3. Buy some CORBEAU GTS II seats, would be nice to have since there is a massive hole in my driver's seat and i love me some bolsters.
4. Buy an is air dam, paint and install that and the side skirts.
5. Replace some bushings, not really needed, but some of the rear sub-frame bushings are getting pretty dry. (still not sure about poly vs. rubber)
6. Get a momo adapter hub that actually fits, my Grip Royal has sat in the box in my room since Christmas.
7. DRIVE MY FIRST CAR FOR REAL FOR THE FIRST TIME, hopefully without finding more problems...
Keep in mind a lot of this shit might not happen, just me getting my hopes up. Would really like to get this thing where i want it to be soon. wish me luck
