A small update that doesent really matter, but im going to post it anyways. I am going to try and take on the "California Bumper" style tuck that Riley Stair has on his e28. Iv'e decided that i'm not going to be able to afford euro bumpers anytime soon, so i am going to go for the next best thing. I' not exactly sure how to do it but hopefully i can figure it out once i can get my bumpers off. I will post pics of the whole process once I get it going!

Clutch fans are fairly cheap (at least in the UK) 15 minute job too.

Hi guys, a couple of you may remember me from my intro thread where had said I didin't have a car, but i wanted a civic EF sedan. Well... long story short i ended up with this 5 series that i got for a steal... 600$.
The body is in decent shape, minimal rust, it is a little dinged up but heck it's my first car.
When i brought it home today we inspected the problem with the radiator (main reason for the price) and the plastic hose fitting had been cracked off. (sorry no pics) as a temporary fix my dad epoxied a steel pipe into the radiator and clamped the hose on to that and it seemed to work fine. After starting it and letting it run we found that the clutch fan wasnt working right and the thermostat was stuck causing it to overheat. Hopefully we will get that fixed soon.
My plan:
euro bumpers
Lowering (not too sure what route to take as i got the car today)
some sort of a valence on the front
wheels, hopefully multi-peice if i can get a job soon.
and whatever comes up that i want to changeLast edited by Robitussin; 07-05-2015, 01:52 PM.Tags: None
