On mine it's turn key counter clockwise/ push on the button to open, turn key counter clockwise to lock.

I think it has some sort of fail safe so that you can't lock your keys in your trunk, but I could be wrong, it's been a month since I played with my car.

Sadly mine doesn't have a fail safe, or if it was meant to have one it was broken. I'm sure i will never make that mistake again.

Also, a fair tip for my fellow BMW owners, NEVER lay your keys in your locked trunk or else you are going to have to cut a hole in the panel behind your seats.

Here it is, like i said it's nothing incredible but it definitely looks better. Now that it's lower my dad doesn't think we need coilovers right away anymore but i disagree.
