woke up early aiming to get the car on the road and legal today. went out to buy a new electric fan. got home and my package from turner was on the porch.

installed the new water pump, thermostat housing and fan. payed for insurance and registration so the car can legally be on the road. should be able to get it inspected tomorrow morning.

i was out driving around for a bit. then came back, installed the roof rack and went to a spot to ride.

every now and then the belt would squeel. not sure why, wasnt at WOT or anything, it would do it randomly and go away just as randomly. my rear passenger fender is rubbing my tire bad even when just cruising so ill have to raise it a little bit to give it atleast some gap. the radiator to reservoir connection leaks so im going to fix that tomorrow also.

after i fix those few bits it will be in tip top shape. the car pulls strong and the exhaust sounds perfect. very pleased with the way its turning out.

ill try and get some pics tomorrow

sticky backed vinyl = sticker in my book. a sticker can get damaged just as paint can. my trim is already painted and done. your suggesting another method to an action i have already performed.

I'm trying to convince a good friend of mine to pick one up with diving boards since they're everywhere. Then I'd just sell him the Euros.

I wrapped my moldings in vinyl which is soo much easier to clean and maintain.

did my passenger side shadowline yesterday

went down to the yard just to see if they had anything new or worthwhile. picked up an m42 radiator so i can clean my drivers side of the engine bay.

    started refinishing my Thule feet.

this is the only one i have done:

knobs and locks are brand new

and just some pics of the lowest points under my car, thats a 2" roll of painters tape. its marked at 1/2", 1" and 1 1/2".

the new water pump and aluminum housing are still scheduled to be here monday so the car will be fully road ready.
