got one of my style 19's bolted back up today.

that spot in the center of that 1 spoke that looks like a serious paint chip is just dust. should be for sale soon. i completely lost interest in them.

redid 1 of the center caps:

    (left is redone)

also completely stripped one of the barrels and painted that as well, i dont have any pics of it out of the wrapping, i forgot to take some.

that silver metallic is what im going to spray the faces with. i prefer the metallic over the solid grey.

my battery kept moving out of place so i wanted to fix that today. in my black car i made an overly complicated setup to hold the battery down. with this one i just wanted something simple.

i took some of my aluminum stock, took the battery and tray out then went to work.

about a half hour later i had this :

very simple design, 3 posts support the top bar which hold the battery down while the bars support it side to side.

i had a small split in one of the accordian pieces of my intake boot so i fixed that.

started shaving the drivers side of the engine bay but ill save those pics for when its near finished

still raining all day so i did some work on the futura again

sanded to 1500 grit. then did some hand polishing, still needs work, but its getting closer. centers are a different silver due to them not bieng the correct year caps for these futuras. the centers and caps will be painted before they get bolted together.
