Hey Brandon, i've been looking everywhere, but what are your wheels called? The only ones similar to them I found are the 3 piece ones off a Benz

They are RH toplines. There are two sets ive seen in the 5x120 for sale forum but they are around 1000 dolllars, are overseas, and need refinishing. Mine are actually up for a feeler at the moment if you were interested.

dang, for some reason I thought they were some oem wheel. I'd totally be interested but at this time, I have more to worry about on my e28, than the wheels. lol

Gotta get it running, painted, inspected, the whole shabang, still in early project stage.

Haha no worries man. I totally understand that. I am most likely gonna keep the wheels anyway. I like them and just had them up for a feeler.

Small update.

Started to work out some rust that I had recently noticed. Underneath the rain gutter on the passenger side I noticed what looked like really heavy rust. Got really worried but after wiping it out and cleaning it, it appeared to be only minor and just some surface rust. I got off what I could of the rust from the surface since getting in there is pretty difficult with sandpaper and then hit it with some primer so it wouldnt do that again.












Also the trunk seal is a pretty common failure im coming to see and its definitely been one on this car. The driver side by the taillight is rusted through unfortunately. At least its a small spot and I figured id sand that as well (or at least try to) and throw some primer on it as well. That should hopefully prevent it from spreading.






On top of that, My driver side fender has been messed up since i tried to roll it with no heat gun and washing it at work the other day ripped more paint off. So I said fuck it, Sanded it, and got a color at my other job that was close enough for what we had in rattle cans. Its not perfect thats for sure and around the edges it chipped so the primer is showing in tiny spots but it is better than before and no more surface rust on that shit either.









Next on the body list is getting the rear quarter done as I always say. Just need to spend a month or two saving and have it done. Maybe paint sometime in the future. Maybe.

well ive been cleaning my bay lately. getting small shit back on that came from factory like the spark plug wire holder. That made a huge different. so glad i got another one. It is definitely not the cleanest bay but the tubs cleaned up well and the motor isnt horrid so im happy with it. All the money into maintenance has paid off.





also finally got the rear bumper tucked. it was still sagging so i put some jacks under it and bent it up as far is it would let me. better.










Also cut off the stupid boso tip i had. much better without it. surprisingly, it made the car so much louder without that extra foot of pipe.




Finally, I got my euro clock to work and light up. For anyone doing this, I had a buddy let me know he found a plug behind the radio/ gauge cluster that went to nothing and had the same plug as the clock. it is already wired into the car and literally makes the clock work with no cutting or anything. I pulled my cluster out, pulled on a few wires and came across it. Pulled it up and sure enough, plugged it in and it worked. not sure why there is no write up for that instead or what the plug was originally for but it works.
