Thanks for the words guys. The color is something that got me hooked from the get go.

So started the tear down for suspension stuff. Inserts are here and so are the sleeves and crap. Ripped out the front last night since that is what needs the "custom" shit. Shortened housings and sleeves should make for a good ride down where I want the car to be. Hopefully. Having Sean at the Fitgarage throw them together for me this weekend since I dont trust myself enough to be able to do this on my own yet, especially the shortening part. So I get to take him my stuff and let him work his magic.







Also threw some spacers on the rear after I got my extended studs. Some natural camber should get it sitting nice when I lower the back I hope haha. Really want the fronts to sit like this as well. Tested a spacer but will need smaller tires for sure.



And here is a really rough comparison. Should drop the car a good amount even with the sleeve adjusted up high. The sleeve may even sit a little lower after shortening the housing.

Thanks guys! I cannot wait either. Been two days and its killing me. Little update. Got the rears together and on the car. Used a small portion of the old bumpstop just in case. Super stoked on how easy the rear was. Literally took all but an hour or two total to take them out and have them back in. The car will sit lower than this picture in the rear. The front being jacked up is messing with how the rear is settling in so I wont know how low it is going to be until monday. Also will need a larger spacer for the back. Even though you cant get a finger in, it still has some gap and that will bug me later. also gonna look into maybe having a friend shoot it with a camera. These shitty android photos arent cutting it.

Thanks guys. Getting the fronts back tomorrow hopefully and gonna run some temp wheels with smaller tires to get the ride height dialed in. Trying to mimic what my black car looked like.

I love e28s I was going to buy one but the whole "weld in" rear suspension turned me off of buying them seeing as I dont know how to weld anything

Soooo car is on the ground FINALLY. So happy with it. literally like couldnt fall asleep last night lol. Bought these style 5s as temps with brand new tires and i might actually just keep them on for a while. Always been a sucker for this look anyway. Car rides awesome. A bigger spacer up front is needed but might have that fixed later today. Also my dumbass was in such a rush to get it together that I didnt take any pics of the suspension stuff so sometime later I will.

Also, since the rabbit strut uses a larger nut, I had to improvise. The flat head was such a tight fit that it held the nut in place and I was able to tighten the strut with the center hex that is machined in.

Well got my other wheels on finally and man am I happy I did. Completely changed the look for me and I love it. Turned out a million times better than I thought. Super happy.
