Ever look at a R53 cooper or Lincoln Navigator with factory reflector xenons, then go look at a halogen equipped version? The reflectors, bulb seats, and glare shield are completely different and that's neglecting the auto leveling system.

If you must have the HID look to fit in with all the cool kids, then spend some time and money and do a proper retrofit.
....................... can we move on and get off this subject please. this is not a thread of who knows more about the inside of a headlight reflector housing. thanks for your concern however.

ive been thinking of going more of a crazier direction with the car, something a little bit more unique.
with that said i started building my 'rocket bunny' inspired wing for the trunk.
    drew up a sketch

started with a 3.5" wide piece of sheet metal
cut it down for the middle section and two end pieces

curved the middle piece to rough shape

cut the ends into the rough shape

split the pieces and curved it to meet up with the middle section

got both ends done and tack welded on the rear then tacked to the center. came out way better than i thought.

just the first piece to the wing but getting there. i think i may raw the entire trunk and hood since the paint is wasted anyways.

i agree i just want a tad bit of stretch and anything less than 8.5" looks too skinny to me.imo

not much of an update, been a little busy with work but anyways.

havent been able to find wheels that really jump out at me. test fitted my buddy's corvette wheels the other day. 17x9.5 et56 with a 25mm adapter making it et31 right?

Nitto neo gen 215/40 stretched on them

I test fit these with my strut/cut spring ghetto setup since i havent fitted my coilovers yet. so obviously the fitment wasnt good i was just getting an idea what my options are.

.....alot of poke i know but im at basically 0 degrees camber. they would fit with more lows and some camber/fender work.
I think i want something with a little less poke so im trying to find some decent wheels in a 17x9 or 17x8.5 et35 with a 205/40 stretched a tad. what do you all think??
