Awesome build.. Everything looks perfect. Nice shop/house, and great work on the trunk lip.

got a ton done to the car yesterday!, rolled my fenders, put the non-ABS brake system in,all coilovers installed, and started dialling my fitment in. enjoy the pics
boxes of all the old crap ive been stripping off includes 4 struts/cut springs, 4 bent rotors, 4 rusty calipers, 4 abs sensors, 2 airbag sensors/control unit, abs system/master cylinder, inner fender liners, air box water trap blah blah blah

saving weight in extra bolts alone

even though racelands arent the best they're better than my old setup

now for some fitment pics

and the rear

once she's rolling again ill get some better pictures than these
my spoiler rusted from my 900 mile trip to colorado
not bad for static tho??

major photo dump of what ive been doing lately. sorry for the terrible quality but when im working i just snap quick shots.
decided to paint my vent bezzels so heres before

and after, i just used some duplicolor vinyl, plastic paint for interior, looks like natural black plastic with some texture

grabbed a piece of extra sheet metal and made a foot plate, ignonre my awesome pedals...

some of the new parts
godspeed type 3 lugs

22" 2.5'-3' exhaust tip im going to use, only about 2" will be sticking out so dont worry.

When i was at sema this fall i went to the DEPO booth for Headlights and the qaulity surprised me so instead of spending 300$ for used oem gc8 headlights i went with these black housing glass crystal type. glad i did they are very nice.

also got everything i need to completely delete abs from my car. why do this? because imo abs sucks and with the brakes im putting n the car i wouldn't be able to get the full advantage if i still had abs.
65$ from the junkyard

all of the abs off the front end, deleted about 30lbs !

random pic of my spotless engine bay and the horrible gutless 1.8L

the bottom bolt on the drivers side strut put up a fight but i'd say i won

strut/cut spring combo off,old rotor, caliper, abs sensor off and the yellow wire hanging down is airbag sensor, took those out too cause its extra weight i dont need and i dont even have an airbag anymore.

coated my inner fenders

test fit of the new parts, with my coilover lowered where it needs to be in order to get the wheel fitting good it rubs on my axle which i dont get cause people tuck 17's with racelands all the time. so i gotta figure that out.

some wheel fitment, i want it closer to the fender about 3//4" more

wheels fit better than i expected so stoked on that.
mounted my tires...so the wheels brand new were 480$ shipped and the tires 220$ shipped so for 700 bucks no complaints

tires are Accelera Alpha's 205/40 on a 9" wide wheel.

leave you off with at least one half decent picture of my buddy's 04 wrx wagon.

just a little 110v lincoln mig welder with some shitty flux core wire, does the job tho.Originally posted by 244Brick View PostNP, still looks awesome none-the-less. What welder are you using?
thanks alot man! there will be some more sheet metal work to come with the new hood as well to tie it together.Originally posted by MommysLittleMonster View PostAwesome progress.
You definitely deserve props for the DIY spoiler, great work.
