^^ this may be true but not for every account. not all housing will cause an insane glare when running hid's, i know this because my roommate sells kits as well as led light bars, if you aim your drivers bulb to the right and down just a tad even on hi setting its no worse than driving past a lexus or bmw with projectors blaring at you.

mind you tho i do **** when i drive past a lowered civic or whatever with bright ass blue hid's. the way i see it is installing these hid's will make driving a lot safer since my night driving vision currently is only 35 yrds.

As for the Racelands, the Ultimos ride just fine. I have the same ones on my 04 wrx. I know they aren't KW's or anything fancy but they do work. Decent for a budget.
thanks for the feedback! this is my second set of raceland's first being just normal ones so curious to see a difference in the ultimos

did put my rack setup on which looks good and functional. the blobeye WRX is my roommates.

and here's a quick shot of of shop we have/ currently live in. 2700 sq ft, but about 650 sq ft is our house. not bad for 2 20 year old guys ....Fast & Furious anyone?

    thanks

on another subject, im looking for wheels now but haven't found anything that really grabs my attention. thinking something around 17x9 30 et with a 205/40. i would love legit wheels but for this build might go with a decent knock off but something not commonly used in the subaru world.

Seems pretty cool so far. I like the OEM+ thing that's going on so far.
yeh its just the plain jane ol' trusty ej22 na phase 1. i would love the 22b or something but for just a cheap motor to refresh and get decent fun power out of in a na platform i think ill enjoy it.

so just been waiting on some parts to arrive which finally did yesterday.
I know people **** them and bag on them constantly but for what i want out of this car i think these will do the job. hopefully the Ultimos ride a little better than the regular ones.

    so shiny

saw this rack on another subaru forum, its just some universal one off ebay. qaulity was decent and came with a shit ton of clips etc

also picked up a basket cause i like the look of them on slammed cars, which mine isnt yet

annnnnd because the stock dim yellow H4 bulbs dont cut it in a 20 year old car i bought these as well. 35w hi/lo Hid kit 6000k

and this damn little piece took forever to come! my 4" shift extender.

i dont know who worked for subaru in the 90's and decided that putting a nasty rubber boot was a good idea but ripped that sucker off and put my new suede leather one on.

also put my wheel in, i don't like how i have to get rid of cruise control cuase its connected through the oem steering wheel so ill probably try to fab a mount to hold the controller elsewhere
anyways end result looks good i think and feels great!

and to leave you off with some eye candy. my Datsun.
