    More work

    - T - clamps done

    - The Bolt for the GReddy Oil Pressure Gauge

I heat insulated the water return line so as to be safe, than sorry, since it passes too close to the manifold

-And I also put something that has been a long time since I last saw it on my car...

Then I received some package, again from Mike2ptZero, Ringer-Racing

    Inside it, it had....

    These:

    And my KN Filter:

here in comparison to the JR which was strugling to stay alive these days

The problem is, that the KN had a 97mm flange, and my Turbo inlet is 90mm. So I had to do something to fit it properly...So I cut a small 90mm hose piece and fit to the turbo and then the filter onto it...

    here it is...

The clearance from the headlight is not big, but at least there is some finally.

    Made some test runs

Some better photos of the filter Neoklis found me

And what we finished up around 12 am as we speak...

A surprise from an idea I had...
While my and my friend Dimitris were having a break at the library from studying, i thought there was a cool place where we could take some photos for an hour or so and have fun...So we called our friend Kostas Santinos, and he hooked us up with some great photos as always...

So, here is the "break photoshoot"

      And a US-spec-love-attempt

      Some more:

      Cheers everyone

Car was properly detailed very often by me, I like detailing stuff a lot. However, I just never had someone taking pics. Until one day, I though why not . . .

        ....Enjoy some pics...

        Cheers

So, it was late March 2010, I always had a thing for lightweight things, let alone my love for raw Carbon Fiber . . .

So as you guessed, it seems I ordered some more stuff...

          oooops...

Well we did some go-karting, had some nice wheel-to-wheel battles, lap timing,

and then i took permission to enter the track with the Audi, to have some rounds in it...

Here are some pics from our evening...

Photos were taken with a Nikon D90 ( D90 w/ AF-S 18-105 mm VR)... taken by Kostas Sant, Santinos.

So that actually means, my thread isnt blocked, and people do actually read it -

Joking. Thanks a lot my friend. Stay tuned. Car is so young in these stages, in comparison to what it has today become. I promise you some great updates . . . with a lot of cf

                  Cheers

I woke up one morning, thinking I should change my catback exhaust system...to what I always wanted it to be.
It used to be 76 mm splitting to 2x63 mm pipes with a muffler in each side...
I changed it and used the 3.0tdi rear valance i had...

                    Current setup

                    Removed

                    new 76mm piping

muffler to be used, to cut some sound too...

                    wonderful welding

Final results, pictures dont do it justice by any means...

I need to clean that underbody sometime when the weather settles to summer mode...

                    Some better pics . . . I really loved it . . . and still have it till today . . .

                    W T F are u looking at . . . . ?

Here is a video, the car is cold, and not revving over 2500-3000 rpm.

Keep in mind, that behind the car is a closed garage so there is some echo in the story...

And one of the inside . . . Once the turbo spools, the car gets reeeeeaaaaally tail happy...see for yourselves...

                                Οrdered this

Well, here are some more little things...

First I received a pckage today from EMS, plus i bought a new tool, much needed i believe...

                                So here are the boxes...

                                1. The tool i bought is a dremel-like thing, in a good price, and it will be helpful in putting the Carbon Fiber Trunk to make some whole where needed...lets see how it will last for its price, either way it has a 3 year warranty hehehe

                                2. The EMS box had inside it . . .

Yes, some new D1S Lamps for My oem Xenons hehe, two pairs actually to see...

And this is the next week's project propably, I will relocate my battery to the back of the passenger's side, right here...and make a proper mount for it as well...Lets see how this turns out... B)

and then these showed up as well

-------------- Time to install some new things -------------------

So that morning i thought it was time for some Bixenon Lamp swap...And i would try a "change bulbs without removing the bumper method" . . .

Passenger's side first, which after having gone BT, and with no filter there, it was easy, i didnt have to remove my catch can either...
So, one bulb went on, rather quickly...

Then time for the second one...

First i removed the engine cover....then the power sterring fluid reservoir, and the windscreen washer fluid reservoir....rather easily...

Then I caught the first one with a tie wrap to keep it out of place, and loosened the three headlight screws to make it come just a bit more outwards just to give me the hand i needed to take the bulbs covertwo bolts out....small hands will help out, however mine arent, LOL....(a chance to clean this engine bay's area as well if u havent already....)

And now we have two D1S bulbs on the car...

Some more photos to show you how the 3000K look in daylight....

I cant wait to see those at night...pretty track-theme going on now for sure hehehehehe

Then it was time to put the rear differential valvoline temp sensor in at last, i almost forgot about that...

So, this is how it was before...

Then we took the valvoline off the differential, and put the new bolt on, with the sensor that i had made some time ago in the shop....

                                So here it is...

Fluids back on and then time to pass the signal wire to the Greddy's main unit....Since my car is mostly gutted, this wasnt so hard to pass the wiring...

Possible location, but not the right one, passengers side over where the xhaust used t be

And here is the place we chose for the wire to pass...

So we pass the wiring underneath as we should...

And then, we connect it to the main unit of the gauge which will be hidden somewhere in here...

I dont think there is another Audi with this kind of mod, so this would be interesting especially for street-track heavy use, cheers....
