Seems like I managed to do some more work today. Or to be more precise, A LOT more work.

the DaiLy was watching closely . . .

Used this magic product to finish some left-overs from yesterday

The ability to see your interior via the engine bay

Big Thanks to Mike @ Ringer for all the help throughout the years

Spent some more time on the tray

And got to work to remove all of the remaining components from the engine bay

There wasnt blood - there was something even worse - Dexron II steering fluid - yikes

    Again, dirty below

Couldnt leave it like that, you guessed correctly

    Clean at last

    Removed the gearstick-gearbox connectors

Then the fuel lines had to go

    Now we're talking . . . Fresh, and empty bay to begin playing . . .

AirBag ECU removed, and will go for sale

JHM Short Shift Kit Removed, and will also go for sale

After removing this plastic, there was access from the cabin to the floor below the car - Officialy FLINTSTONES MODE

Tom thought: WoW, too many Wires - Let's do more work

So we started working on the steering column

    Things are getting serious

No Head for the screws that hold the ignition key hole - like the ECU Screws

    Bye Bye

    More things came out . . .

    No stopping now . . .

    Alarm out

Greddy units out (5th one, still in car)

Tom was still not satisfied so he went for . . .

    The steering column . . .

And then we pulled out the dash bar support

Leaving us with this to work, way easier access to the oem loom now

Lots of work to be done . . .

Now, you can pass things or tools from lots of places

You can even sleep in the front

    LoL. More to come guys

    Cheers

    More work - More progress

    Started with this

    Ended up like this

Have to do the other side too

This tar sheet is getting on my nerves

    bye bye

Will finish it with some TarMinator from Chemical Guys, next time

    I then removed this

Leaving me with this, which I wanted to remove as well . . . it is attached to 2 ends.
One is the ESP/ABS Unit - The other is the interior brake pedal. What a pain in the ass that was. We'll get there . . .

ESP Unit was bleeding while being removed

Bye bye ESP / ABS. This car has had enough safety, thanks

    Leaving us with this

Then it was the hard part. Removing the pedals under the steering column. What a nasty place to do work. My back has seen better days.

    Throttle pedal came out first.

Then came all the rest, allowing me to pull the servo out after I had finally disconnected the brake pedal.

All these will go for sale as well

The tray was naturally dirty from all the years of daily use

Made it look a bit better, despite it will mostly be cut anyways

    Cheers, more to come

My DaiLy suddenly had this wheel on . . .

And then the Audi got this wheel on . . .

    Bumper was removed

And so was the Seibon Hood

Reason for all these, was that the car was about to go out for a ride, despite being engine-less, and trasmission-less, with the help of my friends, and our lovely 4.0lt Jeeps

Cant go wrong with American Muscle when it comes to torque.

So the car, went out, I was on the steering wheel and it was really fun. No good photos as I was concentrated on the brakes and handbrake to help the Jeep in front of me move easily

    Hello Tom's Garage - It's been a while

    Boy meets girl

Car is harder to fit in here due to the RS4 body. But it fits

Can you tell we've missed working on this car ?

Lost no time, and started taking all the ecu- ecu box and harness off the tray

    Bye Bye

    Damn, do I spot a hidden tar sheet piece in there . . . . hmmmm . . .

Hope you liked it. I am sure I did

    Cheers guys

Then again, my pocket was a lot heavier back in the days when I used to run Sparcos. Or even Recaros.
No pain, No gain, they said. Boy, were they right. LoL
