Made some more progress today.
Sat in the trunk area of the car, and thought I'd give it a go myself at removing the rear diff.

First I had to disconnect the rear axles



Passenger side out



On the driver's side, I had to remove the exhaust heat protection first
[on the passenger side it was removed in the past, due to my having single output exhaust on driver's side]

Out it went



Bolts removed



And out went the driver's side rear axle



Next bolts on my list were these two





We have a touch-down





Diff and mounting bracket will go up for sale sortly
