There is on build out there, and that guy is doing what appears to be a perfect roof chop, but it also involves all new production glass..
Ah I see. Way too much work then.

Sorry to distract with my sig

This thing is really coming together. those mockup coilovers are pretty sweet, and would save a huge amount of time / hassle for a setup.

On a side note, where is the changling build and are you making templates of the parts so I can buy some from you in the future

I well I got the passenger side early grille in today, so the car doesnt look so lop sided now.. The grilles are just a bit rougher than I thought they were, but mostly soft bends, so I am hoping the plating shop can get them in perfect shape.. It was really worth the effort to use the early grilles, and it really wasnt that bad of a job to do, so do it if you can find some early grilles out there.. If anyone has as idea as to where I can come up with a nicer set to start out with, I would be interested in them..

I will have some updates on the Amazon Design Headlamps real soon, and they are coming out pretty trick, with the Turn/Park lamp made into the bottom of them..

Or is it from somewhere in the engine bay (in which case, won't the engine suck in hot air)?

PS: mount the mirrors symetrically. It will look way better, plus, cars 25+ years back in some cases didn't even have mirrors on the passanger side.
The motor gets its air from the cowl vent/fresh air vent, and there is a filter built into the box at the back of the intake.. There will be a rubber gasket that seperates the intake from the firewall, and that will allow for the engine torque and motor insulation.
