Flat black doesn't hide anything, if anything it makes it look more cheap. Especially if it's two tone between the cream and black. Please just do the entire thing cream. It looks very nice, despite the smashed body.

The new wheels will fix alot of this car!

(My mint valve cover doesn't match anything haha. If I could do it again, I'd keep the bay burgundy, and the valve cover polished. )

ok well its gonna be flat black, it hides the fact that the drunk guy i bought the car from drove it into 50 trees, but it will be fairly clean as far as a $250 car goes, i actually really like the mint valvecover on Igor, but it wouldnt match the cream, I agree with you guys the wheels do suck, and i have new ones to go on that will fit the era and style much better, also i am not 100% on the color, but it also needs a lot of body work before i can justify good paint, i just needed it one color so it wouldnt be towed, i want to go for a more mk1 vw beige with the next spray.
these will be the new wheels at least for now

I should have emphisized that better. This has potential and I can see how it could be nice. Sure it won't be perfect(no car is), but right now there are alot of things that don't seem to be done right.

Street sign floors and painting the car with what looks like a complete lack of body work is what I'm talking about.

I was wondering as I scrolled through the pics if people were going to be mean (read: honest) about this thing. I understand it was in pretty rough shape, and can appreciate that you're at least showing it some attention, but pre-paint that thing was really really rough looking lol. That said, the new color is cool. Get rid of the Ken Block wheels and maybe put a floor in it, and you could pull it off. When done right, you can still have a really cool car with a lot of character even if it is a beater.
