what should i have done, the only thing that was broke was the lugs because of the wrong wheel bolts. im not saying we fixed everything but honestly a 2002 is so simple that all it needs is to run stop and steer, all of which im pretty sure we fixed.

give me the car back and i will do the same drive again, i loved this thing and i dont think i have ever had more fun driving any car
ground down the rust and weld some sheet metal in

Read the whole article. Sad ya sold it! I still own a 1997 e36 with 783xxx miles. Yet I went the opposite route in restoring mine. Nonetheless neat build and interesting. By the time I got to the signs for floor pans I wanted to donate a welder and metal.

I think it was a really low low budget build and it was just for fun. Part of that "fun" was that the car really was a piece of crap!

Healing begins with admitting you lost your brain somewhere along that drive. It's not that you didn't restore it. It's just that you DIDN'T REALLY FIX SHIT.

I lost like $50. Shocks don't count. That was a gift card. I spent so much on paint.

when i pay for it what does it matter what i do with it, also i doubt anyone is dumb enough to use this car as the start of a resto, 2002s are a dime a dozen for rusty shells like this so you can blow me, i do what i want

    car- $250
    brakes- $300
    random shit -$30? $50?

i came out about even over 3 years of having it which i dont think is bad at all, if you added up parts like wheels and stuff i probably didnt, but if you add up what i actually paid then yea i probably did, if only i hadnt blown most of the money by now
