i just put the calipers on
i couldnt find the pads, but i put them on now so it will save time later.
at first i couldnt find the bolts, but thankfully i found some bolts off a mk4 jetta that i parted, and they fit perfectly
of corse after i finished i found the actual ones, but the mk4s seem to be in better condition so they will stay
the old ones
i still love that one of them is gold
fluid and pads once i can get alex's bleeder hose, i dont want to spend $2 if i dont have to
more tomorrow maybe

On the one hand I'm glad to see that this car wasn't scrapped, the early 1602's are getting harder and harder to come by. At the same time, it's kinda painful to look through some of the 'repairs' that were done. I would say my '02 was pretty close to the same condition when I first got it, but it's well on it's way to recovery now.
In the end all that really matters is that your getting enjoyment out of it. Just make sure it's safe to drive for you, your passengers, and the other people out on the road with you.
for now its just a fun junker to dick around with.
that being said once i do have time it still isnt gonna be restored, if anything ill body drop it and run some stupid wheels
i dont think you guys get that this is a $250 car, if i wanted a legit 2002 i would buy a shell and swap this motor over, but this is like having a big rc car where i can do whatever i want and just re paint it or throw a new body on

And please don't call it a rat rod, rat rods were never about building cars that would most likely fall apart

I've done a lot of the work on this car. The amount of rust damage and body straightening needed is ridiculous.

hey, so i havnt done anything to this in a while, its been cold and rainy and i need a garage
anyways this weekend i am going to try to get some work done on it, and after that is thanksgiving break so if I'm not in a food coma from mr.turkey then i will get some work knocked out
I mean how could you not want to work on it walking past this every day
also i was messing around with the fifteen52 instarim app, and did this
i like it a lot, i may get a junkyard set for cheap and either sell or refinish the RAs
