alrighty.. so i bought these wheels today for 200 bucks with brand new tires...

cleaned them up a bit. one has some pretty bad rash..

and the other... well... needs some attention

surprisingly it still holds air fine. ill be bringing it to a shop soon to get it fixed.

once everything is fixed up and what not, ill be switching the tires from the 195 50 15 that are on it to 195 60 15. it should be pretty flush after that, may need to pull fenders

Those look nice. I'm gonna say it's going to be near the same cost, if not cheaper to just get a new wheel from Rota in regard to that damaged one.

There's a shop around here that my friend sai will fix it for cheap. But I think it might be better to just buy a new one. Then i don't have to worry about the rash

got the tire taken off of the bent one today and the damage looks even worse...



took it down to a wheel welder in brooklyn and he said it would cost about a hundred. so i may try to just bend the lip back and see if it still holds air. if it doesnt, im just gonna buy a new one.

since the tire was off and im getting new ones for it soon, i decided to do a quick test fit on the rear. and lets just say im gonna need some rolling and pulling....

Save your life and spend the money, man.. Trust me it's not worth it. DONT TRY TO FIX IT!!! it isn't even pure metal so the structure's strength is already done for.

Nick, that didn't seriously hold air did it? Theres a crack straight through the rim. As he ^ said, its not going to bend. just crack.

got 2 of the tires mounted today. heres a few pics after putting them on the back. definitely need to roll and pull pretty bad. any suggestions on good techniques? thanks

just got a third tire on. so now all are on except front right. just waiting on the new rim to come in. car will have to sit for a bit now. until i pull the fenders out, it will just rub waaay too much.
