  • sorta low, and really really slow (accord wagon)

well this is my first thread on SW so sorry if it sucks lol. but i have a 96 accord wagon lx that is in the process of becoming stanced. its going to be a very slow build because im only 18 and my only source of income is from my snowball stand . but i have big plans for this car! so ill keep you updated with all future mods.

heres a pic of when i first got it. (parents have had it since 96 )

for the first year or so, i didnt really do much in terms of modification. i threw a bunch of stickers on the back (which are long gone) and added a hula girl up on the dash

when i learned about stanceworks and what not, i decided the first thing i needed was some new wheels.i didnt have a big budget for wheels, but my friend gave me a great deal on some JDM nissan 180sx rims. (yes they were actually imported from japan. they have the +42mm offset and the usdm 180sx rims had a +40). they had the same bolt pattern and were the same size as my steelies, so i just swapped the tires i already had over onto them. i also painted the wheels black and added a matte clear coat on top.

road like that for a while until i saved up for some lowering springs. had some friends help me with installing them. (dont you love when all the bolts break when you are taking stuff off?)
but heres a pic of the first day of being lowered...

    then did some small stuff.

debadged back and got a new honda logo, (cuz mine fell off a while ago which left 2 holes in the trunk)

redid the grill. blacked out all the chrome and painted the logo white.

and thats about it for now. i did try on some new wheels, but i didnt like the way they fit. but i may consider buying them still and just getting larger tires.

let me know what you think...

so yeah. ill keep you updated with everything i do. feel free to leave suggestions!

heres some random pics from the last week or so.

      Welcome to S|W Nick!!!
I say, buy the wheels(depending on cost) and sell the springs to buy megan or skunk 2 sleeves. Then, save for some decent shox

or don't buy the wheels Save save save buy legit wheels that needs refinishing. Either way i'm glad your a CD9 driver

hes actually only selling those wheels for 300 cuz hes my friend. but they are in desperate need of tires. right now they are 215 40 17's. i think i would get some 45's or 50'2 if i bought them, just to kinda close off that wheel gap

yeah i was looking at the skunk2 sleeves and they arent even too bad price wise. im definitely gonna need some spacers though otherwise its gonna be real sunken in. so that will probably be next. also thinking about painting my current wheels to this color gold...

                yes? no?

Looks good man, Great potential, and as for the wheel color, not sure if the Red and Gold Color combo will go together, but i mean Its worth a shot..

it's a start, not necessarily a good one but it is one....save for coils and get rid of those stickers, buy wider wheels, slam car to floor, break necks, boost car, get laid, WIN!
