    • First thought was that A2s are fucking ugly as sin but now I kinda like them. You definitely made it look 10 times better. Good shit!

      • To be honest: I pretty much dislike the looks of stock A2 also. They are 4x4 as fuck and have these awful skinny 15" wheels that look like bricks and weigh as much.

But I got inspired by some dudes and learned to love the aluminum chassis. No rust to take care of evar. Love that. (And the awesome gas mileage).

        • Hey guyse, some little news here: New brand winter tires with Audo original wheels. Rolling thru winter in style now.

          "they see me rollin'..."

Oh, and by the way: My cornering lights are working now too!

            • Finally the brakes are in. I apologize but there are not picture from the process as we had a tight time schedule so that there was no time for taking pictures.

              This brake is truly amazing:
              330x28mm/13x1.1inches disc (original were 256x20mm/10x0.8inches)
              4 piston calipers
They are the same design as the AP5200 family

They are huge, they are oversized but work amazing and are sexy as fuck.

I always wondered why anyone would buy a car that looks like an iron, but you've proven me wrong

                      • Thank you guys. Glad to see that someone likes what I am doing.

But I wont change my wheels anytime soon. These are my winter wheels and the summer ones were way too expensive to change again.

                        • Interesting build.

                          • Next step accomplished. Rear brake drums are out and brake discs are in. In order to do so we needed to swap the whole rear axle.

It is basically possible to swap just the mountings but this would have lowered the with of the axle for a centimeter (0.4 inches) on each side causing my winter wheels to not fit anymore. This would suck.

                            Thats why the swap.

So now we have the rear axle from the 90hp diesel in it which came with rear discs from factory. Since I needed massive help from a friend with that I was again not able to take pictures of the process because I tried to help as much as possible which does not include lazily taking pictures.

                            Sorry!

So here the result, I am pretty happy with that.

                              • Since I am following the red/black theme I thought it would be a good idea to blacken the mirrorcaps including their mountings.

So here you see them after a fierce battle of removing them. And thats why I **** working on "new" cars. To remove the mirror mountings I had to remove the door trims (which are a combination of screws and clips), the upper speaker, a trim cap, and some dampening material. Why Audi, why?

                                Car without ears:

Then I gave them to a body shop which I absolutely don't know (but is quite close to my home) in hopes that they deliver some good work:

Next box already ordered: A new set of anti-roll-bars with a stronger rear one from H&R which will shift the cars balance from massive understeer to a more neutral setting. I am totally stoked!
