heres an update

so i received some bad news this friday, my trans-adapter wasn't made in the given 6 week period quantum auto allowed thus a refund of my money was issued and i don't know what the hell is going on, all i know is I'm a little ticked about the whole thing, and i am now debating an adapter kit that utilizes the KA trans.

but other than that i had a big weekend on the truck.

cut the firewall for an engine test fit and found a lot of thing that will need changing.






problem #1, there is no way in hell I'm getting a valve cover on with that booster in the way, so I'm contemplating a hyrdo boost unit, or non assisted brake set up, or just the tinniest booster i can find.


problem #2 no way in hell I'm going to be able to use the stock gas pedal or throttle linkage. gonna have to get jiggy with it and make something new

If there is room, mount the brake booster on the inside of the firewall and leave the master cylinder on the outside.

I'm actually looking at a reverse swing mount set up from tiltonracing.com gonna be pricy as hell but hopefully worth it haha.

got a local friend making the trans adapter for me pretty soon. bought the cad file already gonna try and have it within a month

made a booster deleter today and made my own push rod so i can clear my valve cover.

Lookin sick bro! Why not run the master closer to the firewall, is clearance that much an issue? Ive ran boosterless setups in the past on my corollas. I liked it better without, but some prefer to keep the booster, you'll know whats best for you when you get it back on the road.

so i had the day off work today, and the weather was beautiful so i decided to get some work done...

modified the stock s13 TC rod brackets, and welded a bar between them like a gismo brace design. the mocked up the TC rods with the LCA's

decided on a color for my valve covers


fuel rail, injectors, valve covers, new seals and gaskets on.


really looks ready to drop into the truck....i want to hear it so bad!
