Just took this to the next level with the extra cab add on. Man Im loving it. Any advice on welders btw ? Ive been eye balling this flux wire welder that harbor freight has. I want to grab one and well cut and weld my fenders. I figure its an easy common ground to start with its sheet metal. And fenders are cheap if i fuck up. But I wanted your opinion on the harbor freight welder ever used it ? know anyone who bought one ? are they good or is it gonna take a shit on me the day i buy it like many other tools from harbor freight. LOL

my experience with welders is simply you get what you paid for. if its cheap its gonna weld like crap. especially flux welders. don't get me wrong flux has its purpose. like if your welding in really windy outdoor conditions.

i would save a little cash and squat on craigslist for the right one. thats what i did and i got a $600 welder for $300, brand new!

and for low power welders running gas. I've found that argon is too cold of a shielding gas. and so is the argon/c02 welding mix. i usually run straight c02. allows a little hotter weld with an .030 wire and penetrates rust a little better.
