    Both have 3-axis, the one closer in the photo has 4-axis capability...but no hardware....and just was sold and picked up... a new VF-5 w/4th axis installed is being built by haas right now. delivery is set for first week of jan. also its been 14 weeks on the new haas cnc lathe...will be done in feb i think.

    V4. Well this is about the final design. Ill make whatever changes while at the machine shop this week. getting close......maybe by end of next week i'll have my prototype.

    Plan is 6061 tool plate.









    assembly took 5.5hr to render....

    What exactly are you trying to do to the edge? I haven't used SolidWorks in a while, but I might be able to help you out.
